Apartment "Via Merlo" in Milano

Right in the city center (via Carlo Giuseppe Merlo 3), ideal for visiting Milan. The Dome, the fashion and financial districts are within a couple of minutes walk.

The apartment, sized 90sq meters (1000sq feet), is at the second floor of a building facing a small public garden and offers comfortable housing for 2-5 people for periods as short as a weekend. Rooms: living room (offering a close-up view of the Dome of Milan), two double bedrooms (one facing the Dome, the other facing the inner courtyard), small kitchen, dining room, bathroom with shower, balcony.

Access

By airplane:

from Linate Airport, take bus n.73 (local bus).
From Orio al Serio, first take the bus to "Stazione Centrale", then take the the underground ("Linea 3", yellow line, 4 stations direction San Donato) and get off at Duomo.
From Malpensa, first take the train to "Stazione Cadorna", then take the the underground ("Linea 1, red line, 3 stations direction Sesto F.S.) and get off at Duomo or San Babila.

By train: most long-distance trains arrive at "Stazione Centrale". From there, take the the underground ("Linea 3", yellow line, 4 stations direction San Donato) and get off at Duomo.
By car: the house is in via Carlo Giuseppe Merlo 3 and is directly accessible by car.

Getting around Milan

Traffic in downtown Milan may be chaotic in daytime, so it might be more comfortable to visit the city by public transportation (http://www.atm-mi.it/ATM/eng, 1 EUR tickets give 70-minutes access to the urban network, except for the metro where the ticket is valid for a one-way trip) and on foot.

Parking

Right next to the house (about 50 meters) there is a private car park (about 30 EUR/day).
Free public parking lots (usually marked with white lines) are not available in downtown Milano, and can be found outside the center of the city.
Parking lots marked with a blue line can be found very near to the apartment at the following conditions:

free in nighttime (7 p.m. - 8 a.m.)
available at a fee of 1,50 EUR / hour, for a maximum of 2 consecutive hours, in daytime (8 a.m. to 7 p.m.) in working days
available at a fee of 1,50 EUR / 5 hours, for a maximum of 5 consecutive hours, in non-working days

Parking tickets are available in tobacco and newspaper shops.
Parking lots marked with a yellow line are residents-only and should not be occupied.

Payment

Payment conditions are as follows:

30% of the rental price is due upon reservation, through bank transfer or secure online credit card payment;
the remaining 70% is due, in cash, at your arrival

Check-In

Keys are available at the Concierge Desk right after the entrance of the building (located in via Carlo Giuseppe Merlo 3) during working hours (Mon - Fri, 8 - 12.30, 14.30 - 18).
